Dear Parents,

It’s that exciting time of the year when our student leaders get to celebrate the great work that is done in each of their classrooms at Solana Ranch.  Students have created some amazing work and are excited and proud to share their learning with the people that matter most to them; their families!  This Thursday's Open House is a celebration of the culture of excellence that is found at Solana Ranch!

On Friday we will be having our 3rd Annual Leadership Day, when students from every grade level will share speeches on how they apply leadership skills, a growth mindset and Hawk PRIDE to be their personal best and help make our school, community and world a better place.  I am so impressed with our students as they integrate all of the habits and lessons on leadership to accomplish their goals and as our mission says, “Inspire Greatness in Tomorrow’s Leaders!”

On Friday, from 5:30-7:30 PM, our school will be having Family Heritage Night.  It is always beautiful to see so many of our students and families dressed in their country's traditional attire, watching students singing and performing, eating delicious food from around the world, and witnessing the pride we all have in our own cultures while learning about the cultures of others.   As a principal and educator, I know first hand how our rich diversity is an unsurpassed opportunity for all of us, adults included, to make friends, exchange ideas, promote learning, and embrace each other's unique customs and traditions.

Thank you for all that you do to make our school a special place for our students and families!
